The Arts Educator Leadership Accelerator is a high-impact leadership training program designed for practicing arts educators ready to expand their impact and lead beyond their classrooms. This immersive program develops the strategic, instructional, and leadership skills needed to step confidently into roles such as team lead, instructional coach, mentor, curriculum coordinator, or district arts leader.
Teachers engage in sustained learning, coaching, and real-world application focused on systems thinking, adult learning, instructional leadership, and advocacy for equitable, high-quality arts education. Rather than one-off professional development, this supports deep capacity-building to help meet school-wide and district-wide needs. It helps arts teacher-leaders translate vision into action, influence decision-making, and lead initiatives that strengthen arts programs across schools and districts.
-
Built with educators, schools, districts and organizations in mind, this program is perfect for:
Arts educators identified as emerging or freshly-established leaders in the classroom
Team leads, those responsible for curriculum oversight, committee chairs, instructional coaches and mentors
Schools and districts looking to expand capacity in the arts while creating a leadership pipeline from within
Schools, districts and organizations experiencing leadership gaps, initiative fatigue and inequitable access to arts education
Schools, districts and organizations that want to align leadership development with district goals: instructional coherence, equity, teacher retention, and program quality
-
Topics addressed in this program include:
How adults learn differently than children
Creating and sustaining positive working relationships with colleagues
Establishing your identity as a teacher leader
