What is the Beginning Music Teacher Collaborative?

A small early career music teacher collaborative group that gives teachers access to community, mentoring, actionable and relevant instructional coaching, and collaboration-driven solutions to common problems encountered in the music classroom and ensemble setting.

When and where does this group run?

• This group will run from September 2025 - June 2026

• All components of the group are online - so you can take advantage of what you need, when you need it!

• Realtime mentoring and instructional sessions will be at 8 pm EST on weeknights

Do I need to attend all of the mentoring and instructional coaching sessions?

No! These sessions are drop-in sessions. You can always come and go as you need. It’s structured to fit your life—so no worries if you can’t make every meeting!

How many teachers will be accepted into the group?

To ensure that each teacher gets the attention they need and deserve, this group will be limited to 15 teachers. Once registration opens, this group will be filled on a first-come-first served basis.

I am a district music supervisor who would like to register all of my early career music teachers for the year. Is that possible?
